About Us: Why is it that the news we get each week is bad, terrible or worse.
We live in a great community, the gateway to the central west of NSW and we have amazing stories to tell. Lithgow is a unique area being made up of so many wonderful villages, full of great people that still believe in local community.
Our goal is to tell the stories of those communities week in week out, but we need your help.
The Village Voice is built on the principle of citizen Journalism, you already have the stories, we just provide you a platform to be heard. Our state of the art website allows you to send us your stories, which are then checked and published to the website every day, the stories that are of interest to the community, gauged by some clever technology on the website, are the ones that our journalists then follow up further on and get right into the story.
This is the news of the people. Our region can lead the way and show the rest of the world ho
